|| Where raising quality cutting horses
is an obsession!
Owned and operated by Lewis and
Karen Cadman, Cow Creek Cattle Company, LLC is located in
Archer County, North Central Texas. Our goal is to raise the
best cutting horses our budget will allow.
Quality – not quantity. We are breeding a small number of really nice
mares to some of the best sires in the industry. We also
have some great prospects and show horses. We are quickly
learning the cutting horse business, but could not have
gathered the great horses that we have today without a lot
By luck, and the grace of God, we happened on two really great horse
trainers early in our venture. Both are honest men with
remarkable ability and integrity. Their guidance and advice
have been invaluable in selecting the horses that we have
today. Our relationship with both men and their families has
grown from a simple trainer/customer relationship to true
friendships. If you are in need of a trainer, we highly
recommend them both.
Chris Littlefield is located north of Henrietta, Texas.
Among his many achievements, Chris trained and rode the
horse Real Gun in all events to earn 2004 AQHA World Show
Superhorse award. It was our good luck to find Chris in an
internet search. He has trained several horses for us,
helped us find one of our nicest mares, and is currently
training one of our two year old prospects.

|| Chet Burrows (580/763-1427) is located in Olney, Texas. Chet is a NCHA
money earning trainer who started several of the truly great
cutting performers. We think that Chet’s most impressive
achievements have been coaching our son Trent in the cutting
pen and putting up with Lewis’s ceaseless phone calls and
questions. When Trent wanted to learn to ride and cut, an
employee at our bank recommended Chet. Chet started with a
boy who couldn’t lope two circles, and in less than a year,
coached him to earn his first NCHA check. Chet is currently
coaching Trent, showing our novice horse, and training one
of our two year old prospects.
Thank you for your interest in our horses.
